Digital Signage Leasing for Schools, MATs, and Education Suppliers

Upgrade your screens, displays and signage without a large upfront cost. We’ll provide a fast, fixed-term lease quote once you have the equipment value — and we can help you source suitable school-focused suppliers if needed.

Digital signage can transform communication across a school estate — from reception displays and safeguarding notices to canteen menus, timetable updates, visitor information and campus-wide messaging.

But projects often include more than just screens: media players, brackets, cabling, networking, content software and installation. Leasing allows you to deliver the full solution now and spread the cost over time.

With Axis you get:

  • Fixed rentals over an agreed term (typically 1–5 years)
  • Options for annual, termly or quarterly payments (where available)
  • Quotes quickly once the capital cost is confirmed
  • Support for schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, colleges and education suppliers
  • Clear documentation and a structured process from quote to delivery

What can be included in a digital signage lease?

Depending on the supplier solution, leases can cover:

  • Commercial displays / screens (indoor and outdoor rated)
  • Reception, corridor and classroom signage screens
  • Video walls and large-format displays
  • Media players / signage controllers
  • Mounting and brackets
  • Cabinetry / kiosks (where supplied as part of the solution)
  • Cabling and installation (where bundled and evidenced on the invoice)
  • Signage software licences or subscriptions (where structured as part of the supply contract)

If you’re unsure whether an item can be included, send us the quote — we’ll confirm what is eligible and how best to structure it.

Why schools and MATs use leasing for signage projects

Leasing is often chosen because it:

  • Preserves cash and avoids large upfront spend
  • Helps deliver consistent signage across multiple sites
  • Can align payments to budget cycles and planned refresh periods
  • Enables a “whole solution” approach (screens + installation) rather than piecemeal upgrades
  • Makes it easier to proceed when multiple stakeholders need cost certainty

How to Arrange a Lease

1) Confirm what you need

If you already have a supplier quote, send it through. If you don’t, tell us the basics (number of screens, locations, any installation/software) and we can point you to school-experienced suppliers.

2) We confirm the capital value and structure

Once the equipment/services are clearly listed, we’ll confirm what can be included and prepare the lease options.

3) You receive clear lease quotations

We’ll provide rental options over the term(s) you request, with fixed payments. We can usually provide multiple funder quotes so you can compare.

4) Approval and documentation

When you’re ready, documentation is issued for e-signature (where available). We keep the process straightforward and procurement-friendly.

5) Supplier delivers and installs

Once documents are in place, the supplier proceeds with delivery/installation as agreed.

Don't have an equipment supplier yet?

That’s common. Axis does not supply equipment directly — we believe it’s in a school’s interests to keep the supply contract and the finance separate, so you retain full control over pricing, specification and supplier performance.

If helpful, we can introduce one or more school-focused digital signage providers so you can obtain comparable quotes before proceeding.
